I used to weigh over 300 pounds. I used to feel lonely and depressed. I used to think losing weight would fix all of my problems. The truth? Nothing satisfied me except for the love of Christ. Now, I get to help women get healthy from the inside out, all for the glory of God!
I’ve always loved a good Italian dressing, but finding one with fresh, wholesome ingredients was tough. This one is a game-changer. It’s made entirely from clean, natural ingredients—no processed packets here. With organic herbs, fresh lemon, and avocado oil, it’s perfect for anyone who cares about real, healthy food. Give it a try and taste the difference!
Ingredients:
6 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp honey
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp ground mustard powder
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
Combine Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl or a mason jar, mix together the avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice.
Add Sweetener: Stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Add the dried parsley, ground mustard powder, minced garlic, dried basil, crushed red pepper flakes, and dried oregano. Mix well.
Season: Add salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
Mix Thoroughly: Whisk the ingredients together until well combined, or if using a mason jar, screw the lid on tightly and shake vigorously until the dressing is well mixed.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the dressing and adjust any seasonings as needed.
Store: Store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake well before each use.
Enjoy your fresh, homemade Green Harvest Italian Dressing!
Serving Ideas:
Classic Garden Salad: Drizzle over a mix of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions for a simple yet delicious salad.
Marinated Vegetables: Toss with sliced bell peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms. Let them marinate for at least an hour before serving as a side dish or grilling.
Pasta Salad: I use this Green Harvest Italian Dressing recipe for my Creamy Cottage Cheese Pasta Salad, and it is absolutely delicious!
Grilled Chicken: Use as a marinade for chicken breasts or thighs before grilling. The dressing adds a burst of flavor and helps keep the meat juicy.
